Rispetto's Writings.

I sure hope this is the right place. Please note that a majority IF NOT ALL of these will indeed be Pokemon Fictions. The ratings will range from story to story. Please give feedback, as it is appreciated.

Story #1 (Sadfic): Bone Keeper

I twirled the bone in my paw once more before bringing it down over and over again as I bashed a boulder with it. This is how we communicated, by tapping out messages on boulders with the bones we had. My message was more urgent, desperate even. Is anybody out there?, I had been tapping it out for several days now, in hourly intervals excluding the scarce time I took to rest. I was growing weaker and hungrier with every passing day, and I was stranded on a bare mountain side. As my arm grew weary again, I dropped to my knees as my bone slipped out of my paw and hit the ground one more. I looked down and brought my paw to my scaled stomach, rubbing the bulge that poked out from it. Don't worry, I thought, finishing the rub with a comforting pat. We'll get out of here. I was pregnant and I was stranded.

Several more days passed as my hunger and weariness grew, all the while my egg was close to being laid. Even closer than I thought. With the days that had passed, I had made progress up the mountain and finally came to a rest on a fairly large flat piece of land that was close to the summit. I had made it about halfway across this patch before a slight pain began to shoot through my stomach. No! I thought, falling onto all fours. It's too early for this, I promised we'd get out of here. I rolled onto my back and cradled my stomach as tears began to stream down my face and the skull that it had grown into.

After several hours of struggling, I now lay on my side cuddling an egg. My egg. My child was in this egg, and I was afraid that I'd never be able to see them grow. I myself had lived without a mother, she was killed back when Team Rocket was selling the skulls for a hefty sum. I myself had been left in the wilderness whilst my brother had been picked up by an old man and taken to Lavender Town. I didn't want my child to go through that too, but it sadly had to happen. I tried my best to soothe the egg for the next days, not moving from the spot where I lay. I talked to it and held it close, hoping to at least see it hatch before my life faded away, hoping to at least see it's life come into existence. But I grew all the more faint, and my vision blurred. I went through a slight state of dementia, and then denial. By the fifth day after I had laid my egg, I began to felt life inside it stir. It was hatching.

I managed to pull a smile through all the tears and torment as the shell began to crack. As pieces of the egg began to fall off, my vision began fading. No. I thought, struggling to keep alive through it. This isn't fair. But Arceus had mercy, and I would soon come to find my baby's black eyes staring into my own brown eyes. It mewed and pawed at me, and I struggled through it all to grasp it and bring it close too my chest in a hug before finally fading away, it's content mewing being the last sound I'd ever hear.
