EIC Announces New Global Vice President, Sales and Business ...

EIC ANNOUNCES NEW GLOBAL VICE PRESIDENT, SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Ebara International Corporation is happy to announce the recent appointment of Edward Garcia to the position of Global Vice President of Sales & Business Development.

Ed joins Ebara with over 12 years of experience in business development, strategic marketing, commercial leadership and 9 years experience in LNG & Cryogenics. Ed has broad experience and success in driving, managing and executing global-scale energy and industrial projects involving renewables, emerging technologies and highly engineered products, making Ed a perfect addition to our Cryodynamics Division.

?EIC is very excited to bring Ed in to lead our Sales and Business Development team.? Before joining EIC, Ed most recently led Strategy and Business Development efforts for Hanwha, a Korean conglomerate and a successful new entrant to the North American solar industry. Ed has also worked with such companies as Taylor-Wharton, a mid-market, private equity held global manufacturer and the Linde Group, a public German company. At Taylor-Wharton Ed drove the company?s business development and marketing groups, leading global strategic marketing reviews and driving growth from new and existing opportunities and at Linde he held a variety of positions including Head of LNG Business Development and VP of Business Development where he held full P&L responsibilities and was directly responsible for new products and market entries. Prior to Linde, Ed held direct P&L responsibility for an Asia conglomerate and has broad international business experience ? living and working in various countries ? including North Asia, South East Asia, Australasia, the Americas, and the Middle East.

Edward is a graduate of Darden School of Business with an MBA and Rutgers University with an Economics degree, Ed leads our commercial efforts including Sales, Marketing, and Business Development on a global basis.
