Players would be given freedom to act however they want, but a GM(me or someone else really interested in it.) would be present to provide the plot, some environments and control important NPCs.

Enable AirDrop Over Ethernet, Even on Unsupported Macs and Hackintoshes [Os X Mountain Lion]

AirDrop is a dead-simple OS X service for beaming files back and forth between Macs wirelessly, but a simple terminal command can make it even better.

Simply enter to following command into Terminal:

 defaults write com.apple.NetworkBrowser BrowseAllInterfaces 1 

Then, restart Finder by typing "killall Finder."

This command will enable Airdrop file sharing over faster ethernet connections, and unlock the feature on "unsupported" Macs and Hackintosh builds. If you're attempting this trick with an older Mac, note that both machines in an AirDrop session, even if one is officially supported, will need to use this Terminal command in order to see each other.

Bernanke signals desire for more Fed stimulus

US Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke expressed deep worry over the US economy and unemployment Friday, sending a strong signal that he wants the central bank to take fresh action to stimulate growth.

Warning that stagnation in the labor market was "a grave concern," Bernanke defended the Fed's interventions of the past four years and signaled he would be pushing for more help for the economy when the Fed's policy board meets in 12 days.

"The economic situation is obviously far from satisfactory," he said in the keynote speech of the Fed's annual conference of central bankers in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

"Growth in recent quarters has been tepid, and so, not surprisingly, we have seen no net improvement in the unemployment rate since January," he said.

"Unless the economy begins to grow more quickly than it has recently, the unemployment rate is likely to remain far above levels consistent with maximum employment for some time."

Bernanke made clear that the jobless rate, stuck around 8.3 percent, the sharp fall in labor market participation in the past four years, and long-term joblessness are some of his biggest worries.

"The stagnation of the labor market in particular is a grave concern not only because of the enormous suffering and waste of human talent it entails, but also because persistently high levels of unemployment will wreak structural damage on our economy that could last for many years," he said.

In a firm statement, Bernanke said the Fed will take additional action "as needed" to strengthen growth and boost job creation.

Markets liked the news, with oil prices climbing steadily.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 90.13 points (0.69 percent), closing at 13,090.84.

The broad-based S&P 500 rose 7.10 (0.51 percent) to 1,406.58, while the tech-rich Nasdaq climbed 18.25 (0.60 percent) to 3,066.96.

Bond prices climbed sharply too, with the yield on the 10-year Treasury bond falling to 1.56 percent from 1.62 percent Thursday.

Bernanke, whose easy money policies have been criticized by conservative politicians including Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney, delivered a lengthy defense of the Fed's actions since the financial crisis.

He said that efforts to drive down long-term interest rates through "quantitative easing" (QE) bond purchase operations and other programs had boosted economic output by three percent and added more than two million jobs "relative to what otherwise would have occurred.

He warned, as he has over much of the past year, that Fed action is not a panacea for policy action from political leaders.

Besides heavy spending cuts by federal and local governments, he said the economy has been held back by partisan battles over raising the debt ceiling and the looming "fiscal cliff" policy -- a poison-pill budget law from last year that could force a sharp contraction in the economy beginning on January 1 if not changed.

"Policymakers should take care to avoid a sharp near-term fiscal contraction that could endanger the recovery," Bernanke said.

Economists said Bernanke's comments raised the likelihood that he could garner support for fresh action in the Federal Open Market Committee's September 12-13 meeting -- whether more firm signaling of Fed intent on keeping interest rates low over the next few years, or a third QE program.

"The Fed chairman's Jackson Hole speech was clearly consistent with more Fed easing, although not definitive," said Jim O'Sullivan of High Frequency Economics.

"At a minimum, we expect officials to extend their forward guidance on the near-zero funds rate at the September meeting, with a slightly better than 50 percent chance that a new asset purchase program -- i.e. QE3 -- will be announced then as well," O'Sullivan said.

Not all were as bullish, noting the resistance to a QE3 in the FOMC and the still-mixed signals from data.

"We continue to anticipate a 'verbal easing' through extension of the Fed funds guidance, but do not anticipate quantitative easing at this juncture," said Joseph LaVorgna of Deutsche Bank.

Moreover, a QE3 launch risks political fallout as the battle for the White House, largely focused on the economy under President Barack Obama, intensifies ahead of the November 6 vote.

Obama's rival Romney said last week that he disapproved of the Fed's recent work and that he would seek to replace Bernanke if he wins the presidency.

"I don't think QE2 was terribly effective. I think a QE3, another Fed stimulus, is not going to help this economy. I think that's the wrong way to go," Romney said.

This romantic gesture by a Chinese man to his girlfriend described below may make women around the globe swoon.

To celebrate his girlfriend's birthday,?Hu Seng, from?Chongqing city, thought it would be a nice surprise if he mailed himself - yes, his physical self - to his girlfriend.

Undoubtedly, upon arrival he would pop out of the box and kiss her in front of friends who were in the know.

Things didn't work out so well.

After hiring courriers to deliver the box to his girlfriend, there was confusion as to her address and Seng found himself lost in the post, said Digital Spy.

What was expected to take 30 minutes, took three hours - Seng sealed in a box the entire time.

When he arrived, he was passed out in the box, nearly suffocated from a lack of oxygen in the container.

"I didn't realise it would take so long," Seng said, reported IoL News.

"I tried to make a hole in the cardboard but it was too thick and I didn't want to spoil the surprise by shouting."

Apparently the courrier company had no idea that Seng was in the box and said they would have refused to do it if they had known.

Roots and Wings of a Relationship | EFT & Counseling for Personal ...

I was watching the movie, Sweet Home Alabama, and I really liked this phrase ? ?You can have roots and wings ?? Here?s the dialogue from the movie -

Jake ? You looked like you were having fun out there tonight.?

Melanie ? I?m happy in New York, Jake. But then I come down here and? this fits, too.?

Jake: Since when does it have to be one or the other??You can have roots and wings, Mel.

So true! You don?t need to sever your roots to get your dreams fulfilled. You can have both.

I started thinking about it in terms of a relationship and that?s how I got inspired to write this article.

I believe that a relationship needs two things to thrive ? ROOTS and WINGS. If either one is absent, the relationship will flounder.

Roots represent the foundation of a relationship. It keeps the relationship strong. The important ingredients for healthy roots are ? Respect, Commitment & Communication in the relationship.

?Wings? is the ability to trust your partner and?support them in achieving their goals. It does not, however, imply being selfish and fulfilling only your needs.

The wings will become directionless without roots.

And roots will be suffocating without wings.

If a person restricts you in every sphere, does not let you fulfill your goals/dreams then the roots can die.

Strengthen?the roots and wings of your relationship with?tapping.

ROOTS ? Respect, Commitment & Communication

The romantic candle light dinners may help but the factors that make the roots stronger are: Respect for your spouse; Commitment; and having CLEAR communication channels with him/her.

Respect for each other?- Respect comes from within. ?If your spouse intentionally or unintentionally lands up hurting you by disrespecting you, address it immediately. This can have a snowball effect later on. You will feel?guilt and anger towards yourself for tolerating disrespect.

Tap on the inherent flaws in the communication patterns ?- Are you reacting every time your spouse does something that you don?t like? Take a pause, breathe in and out, TAP, then approach your spouse ? it will be a far clearer communication than before. I?m not against emotional, right-brained communication; they are very good for showing the love that you have for each other. On the other hand, non-reactive, less emotional, more left ? brained communications are better when you want to discuss something that has upset, hurt or angered you. Tapping can really help here.

One key point to remember is that usually women have a habit of flitting from topic to topic when they become upset (naming all the things that went wrong) and men have a habit of sticking to one topic in a communication and getting upset when they see women changing topics! ?If you both can sit down and sort this out, then it will really help. Help each other understand this basic difference (that is, if this is true for your relationship). Also, observing and understanding the unique structure of your relationship will help. What helps others may not help you. If you know that you have to start a conversation every time, as your spouse does not initiate conversations ? talk about it and develop some rules for fighting! Keep tapping on fingertips while talking to ease the tension.

Remembering the Commitment ? Tap and remember the beginning stages of your relationship ? the love, the euphoria, all the drama?:) Remember the good times. Tap them in. It is similar to?gratitude tapping.

Look at old photographs ? Tap, relish and cherish the relationship.

WINGS ? Trust and Dreams

Trust your spouse and honor the trust that is placed on you.

Be Aware but stay away from suspicion?- Awareness and suspicion are different. When you are very suspicious, it can weaken the roots of the relationship. If you find something that disturbs you in your spouse?s behavior then communicate.

Supporting your spouse to fulfill his/her dreams?- Support your spouse in his/her dreams. Of course, we do need to remember ? we are talking about balance here and you need to find that unique balance in your relationship. Everything is context based. Isn?t it!

If you have had a conflicted, turbulent past relationship then tap on it? as it can still subconsciously affect you when you enter into a new relationship.
